Treatments may involve:

- Mobilisations or manipulation to help move joints to reduce pain and stiffness.
- Acupuncture or trigger point needling to help with pain control and reduce tight muscle groups.
- Exercises to stretch joints and muscles, to strengthen muscles to improve joint stability.
- Massage to help restore flexibility in muscles and the healing process by increasing blood supply.
- Posture correction to reduce stress on areas particularly around the spine.
- Electrotherapy eg ultrasound to reduce pain.
- Pilates one to one – to improve posture and core stability.
