Catherine Adams Physiotherapy was established in Bromsgrove in 2006. The practice offers a friendly experienced approach to all our patients. The practice has grown successfully in this time with associate Physiotherapists.
The practice treats a wide range of musculo-skeletal conditions e.g. Spinal conditions including whiplash, sports injuries, post surgery conditions, ACL repair, rotator cuff repair, joint replacements, and repetitive strain. We accept Consultant, G.P and self referrals. We are registered with the major private insurance companies such as Bupa, Aviva, WPA and AXA PPP.
Appointment times can often be available on the same day, with early and late times available. The Practice also manages NHS Physiotherapy Services within Bromsgrove and Redditch working closely with the G.P’s for the best patient care.
Catherine qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 1989 from The Royal Liverpool hospital gaining experience in both NHS and private sectors, working at City Hospital Birmingham and Worcester NHS community before starting in Private Practice in 1997. Catherine has also worked with Bromsgrove rugby club to keep the players on the pitch. Catherine Adams Physiotherapy was established in 2006. Catherine has specialised in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions of all age groups with over 20 years' experience and currently works in the field of Expert Witness reporting.
Anna graduated from Birmingham University in 2001. Anna has worked at a senior level in the Dudley Group of Hospitals NHS Trust for 4 years and in private practice since. Anna has over 10 years' experience in musculoskeletal outpatients, specialising in orthopaedic medicine and acupuncture.
Eleanor Schofield graduated from Coventry University in 1998. She worked as a junior rotational physiotherapist at Sandwell General and was then promoted to senior level in the amputee rehab team. In recent years, she has moved in to musculoskeletal private practice to fit in with family commitments developing a special interest in myofascial and acupuncture techniques.
Lorraine graduated from Coventry University with a first class degree in Physiotherapy in 1998. Since qualifying she has worked within a large teaching hospital and a Specialist Orthopaedic hospital gaining a great depth of clinical knowledge and experience. Lorraine specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy in 2006 and has combined work in private practice and the NHS since.
Steve qualified in 1984, and has worked mainly in the private sector particularly with young adults with multi-disabilities as well as in a private practice specialising mainly in musculoskeletal, sports injuries and orthopaedics. Steve loves most sports and has spent several years working in semi-professional football.
Helen joined the practice six years ago as the Pilates instructor, she is a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer and Pilates instructor, as well as a Level 4 Back Care Management instructor. Since joining the practice the classes have dramatically expanded due to Helen’s fun and professional approach.
Chloe has worked part time in the practice for eight years with the team of receptionists and has taken over the role of office manager since graduating from Bath Spa University with a degree in Business Management.
Penny joined the practice in September 2018 looking after the company accounts and new software system. Penny has years of experience in her previous roles as finance director, which made her a great addition to the practice.
Sally joined the practice in September 2016 as senior receptionist after ten years working in the finance sector and ten years working for the NHS. Sally’s warm personality will welcome you into the practice aiding each patient with their needs.
Lorraine joined the practice in January 2018 after eight years working in retail and manufacturing in the jewellery quarter in Birmingham. Lorraine’s bubbly personality shines through assisting patients over the phone and in the practice.
Margaret joined the practice in October 2018 and has lived in Bromsgrove for twenty years. She has spent several years fostering children and has brought her caring nature to help you feel at ease as you enter the practice.
Trudi joined the practice in April 2019 after eighteen years of training hair and beauty students in reception roles and skills. She excels in helping others, making her the perfect addition to the practice.

Helen has been working in the fitness industry for 20 years and has been teaching Pilates for 18 years. She is a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer and Pilates instructor and a Level 4 Back Care Management instructor.
Helen has been working at Catherine Adams Physiotherapy since 2014 and specialises in remedial Pilates focusing on modifying Pilates exercises for people with various orthopaedic conditions. She is currently working towards her Level 4 Advanced Pilates Instructor qualification.
